Tony Arbolino will remain on the Moto2 grid after signing a two-year deal to headline the Forward Racing project next season. Arbolino finished runner-up to Pedro Acosta in the 2023 Moto2 standings, but dropped to tenth the following season, as Pirelli replaced Dunlop as tyre supplier.

BMW has taken the 420cc parallel-twin from its F 450 GS, stripped away the adventure-bike clothing and turned it into a sporty little naked. Meet the new F 450 R. And, on paper at least, it looks like a tasty bit of kit for A2 riders. The 420cc twin produces the full 48bhp allowed by the A2 licence, along with 43Nm of torque, and gets a 135-degree crankpin arrangement and balance shaft to give it a bit more character than your average small-capacity twin.
